Episode 202: Sutter's Mill

  • Sutter’s Mill Cocktail
    • two pineapple wedges
    • 3/4 oz Honey Syrup
    • 2 oz bourbon
    • Freshly grated cinnamon for garnish
  • Directions
    • Combine one pineapple wedge, lemon juice and honey syrup into a shaker
    • muddle until pineapple is broken up.
    • Add bourbon
    • Fill shaker with ice
    • Shake and strain into a rocks glass
    • Add second pineapple wedge as garnish, grated cinnamon for extra credit.
  • Honey Syrup
    • 1 cup of honey
    • 1/3 cup of hot water
  • Directions
    • Mix honey and water together
    • Be sure honey is completely dissolved
    • Allow syrup to cool
